Downtown Fargo Ambassadors work to improve, promote, and enhance the overall attractiveness and downtown appeal by providing hospitality, safety, and maintenance services for Downtown Fargo’s Business Improvement District (BID). A few specific duties include: litter control, weed abatement, graffiti removal, visibility and presence patrols, personal safety escorts, homeless outreach, and providing general hospitality services for all visitors, workers, business owners, and residents of Downtown Fargo. The BID program is the first of its kind in North Dakota; its primary goal is to make Downtown Fargo the “Coolest Place on Earth!”
