75 Blocks - 15 Ambassadors - Serving since 2013
Going far beyond basic City services, the BID provides beautification initiatives, concierge patrols, intensive litter collection and economic development programs that help to provide a clean, attractive, and vibrant downtown environment. The DMDMC also works with the City and County of Mobile to support projects that revitalize the downtown area, encouraging new business development, investment, and tourism in the City.

"I thought that you might be interested in knowing something about the fine job our Downtown Hotline District crew workers are continuing to exhibit towards assisting those having needs while being in downtown. This past Friday I had an opportunity to experience firsthand the value of this great service. After returning to my vehicle I discovered that I did not have my keys to open my door. I had inadvertently left the keys inside the vehicle. Like so many other satisfied users of the Hotline service, I too am happy to say just how pleased I am with the prompt , professional and courteous service that is provided. After making contact with the Hotline I was shortly met by Michael Carter and Brentt Bradley within about five minutes or so. Both gentlemen appeared enthusiastic and very knowledgeable of their jobs. I have already personally expressed my thanks and appreciation to them for helping me. Clayton, I would appreciate it if you would also thank Michael and Brentt for me. You guys provide an awesome service for all of downtown and I thought that you should know that! Again Thanks!"
