"Hope all is going well with you. First of all I want to tell you what a pleasure it was to have Betty, Ann, and Jerry coming to help with getting the students across the street at the school. (If I missed someone, sorry, I appreciate all the efforts) I look forward to having your organization's assistance again during the next school year. On that note, I had been working on getting the speed limit lowered around the school, and this past Sunday, the city put up the signs. The speed limit is now 25 mph between Lamar and Farish Streets. Now, hopefully, also with some influence from you and your group, we can get that enforced.
I would also like to commend John. He does an outstanding job of keeping the streets and other areas clean around the school and downtown. Kudos to all involved!! Have a great Summer and keep in touch. When your people are out and about they are always welcomed at the school for a cup of coffee, water, or to just get out of the heat. Thanks again, and Be Safe!"
"This morning I had parked at the side of the Deposit Guaranty building, fed the meter and proceeded to walk to the building. I had on wedge heels and somehow stepped on part of the uneven sidewalk and went down on the sidewalk, along with my purse, pad, etc. – there was a man across the street that saw me fall and came rushing to my rescue – his name was Jerry Johnson and could not have been nicer. He made sure I was okay, asked me if I needed an ambulance, called someone on his phone and then stayed with me until I could get up by myself even offering to help me out. Once I sat down on a ledge he provided alcohol wipes, a bandage and proceeded to checkwith me to make sure I was okay – he was extremely professional and very helpful. Thank you for providing Ambassadors and please thank Jerry Johnson again for his assistance!"
"My husband and I were having dinner at the Elite and noticed when we were leaving that one of our car tires was low. While trying to put air in the tire with a portable machine, an abmassador came by on the Segway. He didn't miss a beat! The tire was not holding air and that young man had changed it for us before we knew what happened.
This is the most wonderful program anyone could have in a downtown area and every city should have the same. We now have ammunition to counteract the claims that downtown isn't safe! I plan to tell all, far and wide how wonderful that young man and this program is."
"Last Friday I was walking outside and dropped my wallet. Kantisha found it and gave it back to me with all of my five hundred dollars still in the wallet. I was so thankful, that I just wanted to let you konow that Kantrisha is truly an honest asset to your company."
