Rosslyn Business Improvement District

Removal of litter, weeds and graffiti. Set up, hospitality services and tear down for the many special events in the district. A Safety Ambassador element was added to the program in the summer of 2008 to enhance the awareness of the organizations services throughout the district as well as support events and other programming.

Heard On The Street

Arlington, VA: “I just wanted to commend and thank one of the Rosslyn Ambassadors. Yesterday, a co-worker of mine and I were looking for a restaurant and were obviously lost. The Ambassador was cleaning the sidewalk and asked if we needed directions. After we told him where we needed to go, he provided us with directions. We said thank you and began to walk. After walking more than a block he caught up with us, realized he told us the wrong directions, and guided us in the right direction. I just wanted to thank him again for working so hard in our community and thank you for the service you provide.”
