Votes Are In. Downtown Jackson to Continue Their BID

Members of the Downtown Jackson Partners (DJP) have voted to reauthorize the Business Improvement District, which is the management agency responsible for downtown development.

The 66-block Business Improvement District will be reauthorized after receiving 88.5% of the votes from DJP on the issue.

The district undergoes a reauthorization process every five years, so DJP has secured another five years of operation with this announcement. Ben Allen, Downtown Jackson Partners president, stated, “We are humbled and grateful beyond words.”
